Online degree programs for U.S. Army personnel
In developing our programs, National University has placed special emphasis on providing military students with the technological tools, research skills, and writing abilities necessary to gain maximum benefit from their studies – all at discounted tuition rates. A winner of the prestigious Ray Ehrensberger Award for Institutional Excellence in Military Education, National University continues its dedication towards making education accessible and relevant to our country's military. One way that National recognizes the unique needs of students in the military by offering programs through an intensive, one-course-per-month format.
Online courses are available at discounted rates to active duty military personnel and their dependents only. On-base classes are for qualified students including active duty members, their spouse and dependents, Department of Defense employees, military retirees and selective military reserve members.

As a member of the Servicemembers Opportunity Colleges (SOC), National provides many benefits to its military students. The SOC network program allows active duty personnel the opportunity to earn an undergraduate degree online from the University if they are transferred before the completion of their required coursework.
