ASL220 American Sign Language II

Course Description

American Sign Language II:  Designed as a continuation of American Sign Language I.  It is intended for those with some background and experience in ASL and American Finger-Spelling. Students will learn intermediate ASL skills used in a variety of situations, including the kinesics, morphology, and syntax of ASL.  Idiomatic expression is included.  This class is taught using American Sign Language.  Voice and written communications are kept to a minimum.  Deaf cultural studies are the thematic components throughout the course.
