Course Description

An introduction to elementary Spanish conversation, reading and writing in a comfortable environment. Gives students insight into the Spanish-speaking world, including the United States.

This is an introductory  course to the Spanish language and the culture of its speakers. The course will facilitate the practical application of the language in everyday situations in an oral and written manner. We will have different activities which will include but not be limited to chat discussions,  links to cultural sites, and exposure to daily life situations through assignments corresponding to each unit.  Students will become familiar with the language, people and cultures of the Spanish speaking world.
