Personal Information
Linda A. Simunek is a Professor of Nursing and Health Services Administration and the Assistant Director of Nursing for the Nursing Program in Los Angeles. As a Founding Dean, she has established new nursing programs at Edgewood College in Madison, Wisconsin, Florida International University in Miami, and International University of Nursing in St. Kitts, West Indies and a new master’s program in nursing as Head of Nursing at Purdue University, Indiana. She has served as a member of the Board of Nursing in Illinois and in Florida. She serves as a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Nursing Law and as a pro bono Legal Advisor for the Philippine Nurses Association of America. She serves as an international consultant in nursing education and health care policy and has given lectures about nursing in the Far East, Middle East, the Caribbean, Europe, and in Mexico.
