The goal of the Online Writing Center at National University is to help you improve your writing skills--whether you are a beginning student struggling with an idea for a class essay or a graduate student wrestling with complex arguments. We offer 45-minute online consultations about writing and critical thinking.
Although the Online Writing Center can accept drop ins, we encourage you to make an appointment online to be sure consultants are available.
These consultations take the form of conversations on the topics you'd like to address: for example, developing a thesis statement, developing your ideas, organizing your argument, citing sources, or working on mechanics. Please note, however, that we will not "fix" your paper for you: we are here to provide you with the tools to improve your own writing. We are not editors, but teachers.
