Dr. Peggy L Ranke is a professor and serves as the director for the Bachelor of Science Health Administration program at National University. Dr. Ranke holds certifications in Prior Learning Assessment, is a Person-Centered Care Professional, and is a Community Health Education Specialist. Dr. Ranke served in the Army as a nurse and is a veteran of war. She also served as a civilian nurse for many years before completing her Masters of Public Health and Doctorate of Health Administration and Leadership. Dr. Ranke is a member of the American College of Health Executives (ACHE) and served on the board for over 10 years. Dr. Ranke has presented multiple times in the ACHE annual conference, presented in the American Public Health Association (APHA) annual conference multiple times, presented at CAEL conferences, and presented at National University’s Women in Leadership annual conference. Dr. Ranke served as a Senator, Chair of the Undergraduate Council, and on the Research Committee. She also served on the Faculty Senate and Academic Affairs Committee at National University. Dr. Ranke served as a reviewer with Association of University Programs in Health Administration (AUPHA). Dr. Ranke is involved with Planetree, an international organization in person-centered care, and has presented multiple times at their conferences. Dr. Ranke serves on the dissertation committee of her alma mater Central Michigan University. Dr. Ranke has volunteered with the American Red Cross and was a First Responder in Salem, UT. Dr. Ranke has won multiple awards from National University, APHA, Planetree, and ACHE. Dr. Ranke’s professional interest are VR/AR, AI, spirituality, and leadership. Dr. Ranke’s personal interest are her family, animals, and engaging with her church.
