Sara Cook is Associate Professor and Academic Program Director of the Master of Public Health (MPH) Program at National University. Previously, she served as Assistant Professor and Department Chair at Mercyhurst University in Erie, PA. She holds a PhD in Epidemiology & Biostatistics and MPH from Case Western Reserve University as well as a BA in Sociology from the University of Chicago. Her post-doctoral training was at Oberlin College and the Cleveland Clinic. Sara's research, spanning over 20 years, includes clinical epidemiology, public health program evaluation and policy analysis with an emphasis on improving outcomes for people with chronic mental, neurological and physical health conditions. She resides in the Pacific Northwest where she enjoys cross-country skiing, trail running and gardening.
