The Department of Healthcare Leadership’s accredited programs leverage experienced professionals in the classroom coupled with experiential learning to mentor students in real-world application and build the healthcare and public health leaders of tomorrow. The department’s online and on-site courses culminate with internship opportunities in on-site, virtual, and study-abroad settings. Additional real-world experience and learning happen through capstone courses, where students may get published in scientific journals led by expert faculty with strong research portfolios. When you’re taking the courses, you’ll be encouraged to engage with the faculty. Faculty frequently track progress in real-time and quickly address follow-up issues to ensure students’ success.
