Sarah Carroll

Sarah Carroll, PhD, is the Academic Program Co-Director for the PsyD Program. She was a full-time faculty member in the John F. Kennedy University PsyD program from 2005-2020, and joined National University when the program was administratively transferred from JFKU in 2021. She previously served as Associate Program Director and Research Director for the PsyD program. Courses taught have included case conference, psychometrics, statistics, and clinical supervision. Dr. Carroll has also worked in public health, in other doctoral programs, and as a computer systems analyst. She has had a private psychotherapy practice in Oakland, and has supervised practicum students in community mental health settings. Her research interests include gender identity, supervision, and how the internet shapes our online and offline lives. She loves psychodynamic theory and the Oxford comma.
