Veterans Affairs
The National University (NU) Veterans Affairs (VA) team welcomes you as a GI Bill® beneficiary student. The NU VA team is here to assist you during your educational journey.
NU’s VA team will report (certify and transmit) your enrollment status to the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs based on your current class schedule within 30 days of your class start date. The timing of GI Bill® benefit payments is based on several factors, but generally takes 6-8 weeks from the date of certification.
NU GI Bill® beneficiary students with questions about their enrollment certifications or changes to their class schedule may contact the NU VA team by email at [email protected] or telephone at (858) 541-7950.
