The GNU: The National
University Student Literary Journal
The GNU publishes writing of all kinds by National University students. It is intended as a venue in which to show off and reward the best student writing produced in and out of classes throughout the University. In addition to "literary" fare such as poetry and short fiction, The GNU also publishes excellent research papers, digital artwork, essays, and writing of any other sort. All faculty should encourage their students to submit their work to The GNU ; faculty who are aware of fine student writing can submit it themselves with the student's permission. One of the best ways to reward fine student writing — more rewarding than any grade you can give it — is to encourage them to publish it for others to read. The GNU is presently published once a year; copies are available in the Library and can be requested from the faculty coordinator of the GNU, Frank Montesonti. Please submit your work to the GNU by an attached Word document file to: [email protected].
